After Sheffield's Weston Park Museum was bombed in the notorious Sheffield Blitz of 1940 the art treasures that survived were put into crates and moved to the safety of Derbyshire. But what might have happened had one of those crates got lost on the way?

 

How was it lost? Who found it? What did they do with its precious contents?
